2. What data we process and why

Contact and business communication. When you contact us by email (for example via the "Talk to us" links), we process the personal data you provide — typically your name, email address, company, role and the content of your message. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in responding to enquiries and managing business relationships, or steps taken prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Technical data. When you visit the Website, our hosting provider may automatically process technical information necessary to deliver the site securely — such as IP address, browser type, and access timestamps — in server logs. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Local preferences. The Website stores your display theme preference (light or dark) in your browser's local storage. This value never leaves your device and contains no personal data.

3. Cookies and tracking

The Website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may involve your browser transmitting your IP address to Google in order to deliver the font files; further information is available in Google's privacy policy. Should we introduce analytics or other cookies in the future, this Policy will be updated and consent requested where required.

4. Recipients of personal data

We share personal data only with service providers necessary to operate the Website and our communications (such as hosting and email providers), acting as processors under Article 28 GDPR, or where we are legally required to do so. We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (for example, to infrastructure providers), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as adequacy decisions or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above: business correspondence for the duration of the business relationship and any applicable limitation periods, and server logs for a short technical retention period defined by our hosting provider.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at rs@roconsol.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság, NAIH — 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11.; naih.hu) or the supervisory authority of your habitual residence.

8. Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, taking into account the nature of the data and the risks of processing.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version, with the date of the last update, is always available on this page.
